How To Choose You Frames

By Martha

If you need to find a frame for your photos or a painting then you need to answer a few questions first. You need to be very clear about what you want because there are a lot to choose from. Is it something small you are after or do you want something larger like size A2 or A3 frames?

To make sure you answer these questions correctly you need to know how important the painting or the photo is. If it is of great importance, like a graduation event, then you will want to go for something that is larger. You only need a small frame if the event wasn’t particularly important. If you are framing a painting then you will have the size of the frame dictated to you.

Once you have established its importance start thinking about where the frame is going to go. If I want something the be in the front room of my house then I want it very visible. If you want it next to your bed then go for a smaller frame. You won’t get many A3 frames next to your bed!

You can use one of those digital frames if you are getting a photo framed. I like to use a mixture of the ‘old fashioned’ frames and the new digital ones. They are simple to use as you can just transfer the memory card from your camera.

I like making my digital frame do a slide show so that I can always see it in the front room. Sometimes I get distracted from the television and just watch my photos going around!

The problems with digital frames are that they do use electricity which can be costly, you can’t put paintings in them and you can’t have them large to fit A2 or A3 frames.

I don’t mind which frame you go for as long as you show off your pictures. In this day and age a lot of people just leave them on their computers and I think is a waste.

Why You Can Save Money With Digital Canvas Prints

By Martha

Many people know that buying in wholesale will allow them to get big discounts off the retail price. In case of printing, one way to get low-priced canvas prints is to go for offset printing.

The common rule for getting lower prices in offset printing is to place an order of 500 copies or more. You get discounts because the price of each copy will drop if you will request for large orders.

Likewise, if you will double your order, the price cut will also be twice over. In the long run, immediately following subtracting the huge discounts, what’s left is all that you have to pay for.

On the whole, offset printing is one good way to save especially if you always require thousands of prints. However in case you want at least 10 duplicates or even just 1 copy, the offset printing is not a helpful choice because the small number of order will only cause the price to go up rather than go down. In this circumstance, your best option then is to look for other deals that accept small number of prints at low prices.

How to get cheap deals for canvas printing

Offset canvas printing involves a more complex method compared to digital canvas prints. Mainly because, printing using the offset process normally comprises going through different stages including filmmaking, color separation, and printing.

Moreover, the printing itself requires a few rounds of image transfers before finally arriving at the final stage of printing. In contrast, digital printing is done in a less complicated manner and so the whole process will only take a short time to finish. And because the digital method do not require many things, the cost of digital canvas prints is cheaper.

Likewise, since there are stages in the offset printing that are not needed in digital canvas printing, the turnaround time for all your orders will be faster. For one, the stages required for the full process of printing is very few. The printing is somewhat direct and this makes the production to progress at a faster rate.

You would even find many digital printing providers that can deliver your canvas prints within just 24 hours after the placement of your order. After that, depending on your preferences, either you can pick your prints or the company will send it to your home.

In addition to this, since the printing of digital canvas prints is really high-speed, you can save hundreds of dollars considering you don’t have to ask for rush orders any more. This is another benefit of choosing digital over offset.
Furthermore, it is apparent that not many materials will be used up when the processing time for printing is shorter. And if there is less materials, then the price of the canvas prints will be less too.

As you can see, offset printing can be cheap but only with large volume orders. Additionally, with offset, you mostly pay for the set up cost while in digital canvas prints most of the money that you pay is for the ink and paper.
Finally, when it comes to quality, it can’t be denied that there are times when low-priced items are also low in standards. With that said, then you have to consider a few things first when you intend to go for the cheaper option for canvas printing. Otherwise, you may just end up wasting your money.
